We stayed at the Santa Caterina in early September
and loved it. The staff was very helpful, giving accurate
directions to help us find our way around Tuscany by
car. As a side note, if you rent a car, get the smallest
one that you can get your luggage in as the parking is
really tight.
The breakfast was very nice and the garden setting to
eat it in was the most incredible of our trip. The walk to
Il Campo is a bit of a hike but the beauty of the city
makes it a pleasant walk. Our room overlooking the
garden was spacious, very clean, and very quiet.
We would highly recommend this hotel if you do not
mind the walk to Il Campo.
