My husband and I stayed at your hotel from May 17 -
20, 2005. This was our first trip to Italy (and Europe). I
had booked everything online with you, after
researching Rick Steeves' book. And as a first time
traveler abroad, I am sure you can appreciate my
concern with online hotel reservations. Well, my
concerns were completely dismissed when we arrived in
Hotel Santa Caterina. Even though it was drizzling, your
hotel staff was welcoming and the room so nice,
overlooking the countryside! What a view!
I cannot say enough about our wonderful stay at your
hotel! From the morning breakfast, clean rooms,
proximity to the historic district and most importantly
the helpfulness of your staff. One night I had
inadvertently left my AE credit card in one of the
restaurants at Il Campo and Alessandro called
repeatedly and was able to get through the following
morning. How appreciative I was at his persistence!
We are grateful we heeded your suggestion to rent the
Smart Car and travel to Montepulciano and Pienza and
see the Siena countryside. We really enjoyed our day
and the fantastic Tuscany scenery!
Thanks again to you and your team for a wonderful stay
in Siena and Hotel Santa Caterina. Your attention to
detail and ensuring your guests feel welcomed truly
shows itself in you and your staff. I will definitely
recommend your hotel to others and want to thank you
again for a lovely stay in your city.
